This is one of those games where I don't understand the price at all. As I started looking at the UEFA Cup matchups and prices, this one just jumped out at me. This is Southampton's first European game in 19 years and I think they're ready for a big effort. Many times these early round UEFA Cup games don't draw very well and some teams don't have a lot of interest in playing in this tournament. Well the game is sold out and I feel Southampton can have a good UEFA Cup run.
Southampton have made a pretty nice start in the EPL including a win over Manchester United. James Beattie and Kevin Phillips have started out playing very well together up front. Steaua Bucuresti are top of the table after six matches in the Romanian League. They have won their 3 home matches but have drawn all three matches on the road. The price here is a bit steep but in my opinion should be quite a bit higher. I like Southampton to record a solid home win.
